READING GROUP

The ART Reading Group is meant as a meeting place for students, PhD students and scholars with different backgrounds and as an opportunity for study, learning and discussion on the international debates in aesthetics. Every meeting will be two hours long and will be guided by a member of the ART board. The meetings will be held in presence, but the possibility of online participation via WebEx will always be provided.

Last year we have read the book: Aesthetic Disinterestedness. Art, Experience, and the Self by Thomas Hilger (Routledge 2017).

This year we are reading: The Entanglement: How art and philosophy make us what we are by Alva Noë (Princeton 2023).
